Project Manager-BPO Job in Dublin

Purpose:

This position's primary responsibility is the design, planning and project management of a change / outsourcing project. The project entails the transition of activities across corporate and geographical boundaries. The project management role will ensure driving the project through its full lifecycle from stakeholder analysis and engagement through to project implementation and completion. This project requires a hands on practical approach as well as excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills.

Role Responsibilities:
* Lead the planning and implementation of an outsourcing project
* Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
* Work closely with cross functional teams on all required deliverables, activities, activity sequence, Work Break-down Structure and work estimates to create a framework for the project schedule
* Define project tasks and resource requirements
* Management of project resources
* Constantly monitor and report on the progress of the project to all stakeholders
* Drive and direct the project and associated teams to delivery
* Delivery readiness ensuring steady state operations prior to handover
* Ensure continuity of operations during transition phase
* Ensure project objectives are met within the constraints of project scope, time, budget and required quality
* Coordinating and communication with project resources, internal team, stakeholders and vendors on all aspects of project progression/status
* Measuring progress and monitoring performance (overall, scope, schedule, costs, quality)
* Risk Management including issue escalation and resolution
* Effective project closeout

Skills Experience:
* Proven track record of managing projects in the business outsourcing sector
Project Management Institute Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or equivalent
* Proven experience in areas of project risks and change management
* Professional services, ideally telecoms background, essential
* Proven ability to communicate across all level of an organization effectively
* Ability to drive consensus among various internal stakeholders, including executive management and third parties
* Proven ability to lead a diverse team from all areas of an organization
* Excellent communications skills verbal and written
* Advanced skills with Microsoft Project, Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, basic Visio skills
* High degree of business acumen
* Analytical skills with the ability to truly understand the full scope and impact of the project requirements
* Strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace
* Proven ability working to strict deadlines and results oriented
