Project Manager/ Business Manager- Corporate Real Estate
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project and Portfolio Management (Business Manager) to join a top tier Investment Bank.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive key initiatives forward from due diligence stage to stakeholder and management approval to execution, working in partnership with relevant stakeholders including Efficiency Management, HR, Finance and Corporate Real Estate.
* Reporting on project costs, milestone tracking and management of risks/issues.
* Involvement in contract management (process and control framework around renewals and RFP's, vendor discipline and contract opportunities)
* Ad-hoc business analysis and advisory:
- Provide business analysis for tactical and strategic opportunities
- Support portfolio managers providing guidance and advisory services
- Ensure that business evaluations and business case presentations to senior stakeholders are of a high quality and contain the appropriate messages and recommendations
- Business Management support as required.
Key Skills
- Project Management experience, you will be responsible for leading this initiative end to end, facing off with senior stakeholders
- Experience working on either an outsourcing project or project with some medium scale deployment
- Will ideally have experience working in a Shared Services or Business Services environment (specific Real Estate experience is not required)
- Previous Request For Pricing experience
- Proven project management experience including cost efficiency initiatives involving outsourcing and deployment
- Experience working with, managing and engaging stakeholders of varying degrees of seniority
- strong presentation, communication and organisation skills
- Excellent skills in M/S Office, especially Word, Excel and Powerpoint and Visio
- Experience of working in a business services environment is desirable
