Project Manager (Capital Markets)
Mandatory Skill-set
Candidate must have the following skill-set:
- At least 5-8 years’ experience managing and implementing:
- Front office solutions for Financial Markets, Market Risk Management/Product Control and Credit Risk Management systems, and/or;
- Back office Settlements processes and workflow, Finance, Credit Risk Management and Structured/General Lending/TCF systems;
- Possess general knowledge of Capital Markets products, including FX, MM, Bonds, Swaps, Options and other Derivatives, Structured Products and Exotics;
- Experience in any trading, risk and back office platform;
- Good in using database technologies;
- Sound integration knowledge on front-to-back office/Finance platform and reconciliation between systems;
- Proven ability to efficiently interact with traders and front office management;
- Excellent English written and oral communication skills;
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a global team;
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment;
- Independent, and willing to continuously learn and improve skills;
- Energetic and self-motivated;
- Travel in the region maybe required.
Desired Skill-set
- PMP/Prince II Certified.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Responsible for the delivery of regional projects, management on all aspects of projects;
- Provide project planning on all front office, middle office and/or back office applications related projects interfaces (Financial/Capital Markets, Market/Credit Risk Management and Product Control, Finance, Settlement and General Structured Lending);
- Co-ordinate and ensure that Global/Regional projects are delivered on time and within budget;
- Maintain good business knowledge of the systems and markets locally and globally;
- Organise and document regular project meetings, and provide regular status monitoring on all project activities to management;
- Work closely with IT disciplines for resource management;
- Work closely with IT Risk/Security/Audit Management team for risk analysis and review of security standards within the organization;
- Ensure Service Transition procedures, including change control and release management, are adhered to;
- Ensure projects adhere to the bank’s Global Project Life Cycle Model and CMMI/Scrum/ITIL best practices;
- Provide recommendations to management on how to improve project delivery.
