Project Manager Capital Markets Consultancy 100k
The programmes of work are going to be within investment banking space, based out of canary wharf and city locations. The platforms these candidates will be working across will vary as the consultancy in question has a number of projects across FX, Equities, Fixed Income and Commodities.
As a project manager you would be responsible for delivery of assigned projects / workflows from a software and infrastructure perspective. As you will be a senior / principle consultant within the group you will be expected to provide technical leadership and set the technical direction of projects as well as being in an advisory position to the end client.
Consulting experience is not a pre-requisite for these positions, however you will need to ensure you can demonstrate excellent stakeholder engagement and be able to provide examples of dealing with difficult end clients and managing expectations internally.
If you do not come from a consulting background you will be expected to come from a capital markets background and be well versed in the structure of an investment bank from a technical perspective. In addition solid structured project management experience is crucial. Being able to establish an appropriate course of action to meet project goals, sets up metrics and quality control processes to ensure reliability of performance, monitors performance and takes action when necessary to meet deadlines etc.
