Project Manager Capital Markets (Risk Management software implementation)
Our client is a business intelligence solutions provider who is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the exploration phase of a project with a client in the Capital Markets sector.
Our clients modular Risk Management solution supports a banks risk management activities by delivering functionality for all major risk types, as well as data management and reporting. The solution allows different business units to calculate risk measures independently and separately as well as enterprise wide. The solutions applications can be used together, individually or in any combination allowing an organisation to start on one area and then expand.
The right Project Manager for this role will possess extensive knowledge of Capital Markets, sufficient to be able to communicate with the end customer on their level; you should understand Enterprise Risk Management including Asset and Liability Management, Credit Risk Management, Enterprise Financial crime, Firmwide risk, Operational Risk Management and Market Risk Management. An understanding of finance and operations, and customer insight would be beneficial but not essential. Experience of delivering risk management solutions is clearly highly desirable.
As you would expect this is a London based role and my client is seeking an experienced qualified Project Manager who has exceptional communication, client facing, commercial and soft skills, but possesses the necessary technology abilities to work with members of the client in the business and IT departments.
You should understand true full life cycle project management with experience of delivering projects to external customers. You should have an intimate understanding of project management methods, processes and procedures, tools and techniques and be formally qualified, i.e. PRINCE2, APM, PMI (PMP), ISEB, MSP etc .
