Project Manager – Client Reference Data Business Analyst recruitment

ROLE SUMMARY:
The Reference Data Program is one of Credit Suisse's key strategic initiatives. The program is sponsored by the IB CFO, and comprises the Client and Product (Instrument) sub-programs. The accuracy and timeliness of our reference data is a critical enabler to providing a service that our clients admire and in enabling us to respond to regulators effectively. The Reference Data Program aims to ensure this through establishing single master databases (Golden Copies) for quality-controlled client and product data, migrating all departments to use this data, and implementing clear data ownership and governance.

THE ROLE INVOLVES

Project Managers and Business Analysts are expected to take full end-to-end responsibility for projects. They may manage multiple projects and multiple teams simultaneously as delivery progresses towards the target operating model. Specifically this role is to manage the migration of consuming systems onto the future state client architecture (Client Golden Copy) and to decommission legacy client modules/hubs.

• Perform business analysis to help define solution options and recommendations, including pros/cons and rationale for recommendation
• Gather and document requirements reviews with business stakeholders and achieving signoff
• Coordinate user acceptance testing for business users including preparing test scripts, validating test completion and signoff
• Create key project documents such as end-to-end current/future business process flows, use cases, BRD/FRD, cost/benefit analysis
• Analyze data from Customer Master Service (CMS) and Operations Processing and Payments (OPP) systems
• Identify and document process changes and system enhancements
• Ensure process improvement through redesign is at the forefront of all initiatives
• Evaluate measurable project benefits, i.e. increased revenue, efficiency and control
• Establish strong relationships with various functions and businesses throughout IB
• Facilitate working groups tasked with solving specific data challenges within the organization

We are currently looking for a Project Manager - Client Reference Data Business Analyst to join the team in London.

The Reference Data program resides within the IB Finance function. IB Finance provides support to the IB and Credit Suisse senior executives through its Finance and Investor Relations groups based in New York, Raleigh, London, Zurich, Singapore, and Pune. The vision of IB Finance is to:

TO QUALIFY YOU MUST POSSESS

Essential
• Significant project management experience with a leading consulting firm within financial services or in an international investment bank or similar institution
• Track record in delivering major adoption/migration projects in an investment bank or similar institution
• Track record of driving the decommissioning of legacy applications
• Strong knowledge of investment banking business processes - front to back
• Experience of managing multi-disciplinary teams
• Ease in dealing with senior management
• Experience in achieving results in a project context using resources that do not report directly to them
• Solid knowledge of IT, including experience of managing IT-oriented projects, user requirements development, and testing
• Good understanding of IT oriented methods and approaches
• Extremely strong organisational skills
• Excellent relationship and interpersonal skills
• Good knowledge of standard office software applications (e.g., Microsoft PowerPoint)
• PRINCE2 Practitioners certification or PMI Certification

Desirable
• Knowledge of Client or Product Reference Data front to back
• Knowledge of the banking regulatory environment
