World leading Consultancy is looking to hire a project manager to join their Utilities, Oil and Gas Practice.
Our client, a leading international consultancy, has large programmes of work to be carried out of the next five years which have led my client to the market to hire a Project Manager (Utilities, Gas, Oil, Power). These projects are spread across Energy Trading houses, Utilities (Gas, Water, Power) and Oil Exploration firms and have budgets upwards of 20 million per programme.
The successful Project Manager (Utilities, Gas, Oil, Power) will be planning the programme and then actively managing its progress and reporting back to stakeholders of all levels of the business. A Prince2 or MSP qualification or equivalent is essential for this Project Manager (Utilities, Gas, Oil, Power) role, as is previous experience delivering a software solution (SAP, ERP, Oracle) or trading system within Utility Industry or Gas and Power Industry. You will need to have strong communications skills and be extremely well organised to on top of the projects and to keep everyone informed. You will need to be able to demonstrate project plan writing and resourcing skills used in the past.
The successful Project Manager (Utilities, Gas, Oil, Power) candidate will lead the projects and face off to the clients on a daily basis. You will chair regular steering committee meetings and be responsible for deliver. The Project Manager (Utilities, Gas, Oil, Power) will ensure that all members of the project team keep to the time schedule and where necessary make changes to the plan. These projects are challenge and will be visible to partner level management within this fantastic consultancy as they are looking to grow the business significantly.
