We are currently looking for a Project Manager, Consumer Products to work in our Parsippany, NJ office.

Job Summary: 

 The Project Manager, Consumer Products leads project management team which is responsible for project oversight of new and ongoing digital development efforts that touch across multiple disciplines and departments.

The Manager will support the Sr. Director of Platform Development to assure that development projects are delivered according to schedule and within budget and meet strict quality standards. As part of development timeline, the Manager will work with the Sr. Manager of Research and Measurement to plan research, determine success criteria and ensure measurement methodology has been established.

Additionally, this position will work with the Research and Management team to insure on-going research and reports are being regularly analyzed and used to adjust platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the project management teams, timelines, contracts, corporate approvals and budgets throughout the projects development life cycle from scope definition through release
  • Assure that Research, Consumer Engagement and Broker Engagement groups are included in project planning and have ample opportunity to provide input into the project scope
  • Oversee and direct cross-functional groups to develop and deliver products on time and within budget
  • Balance demands and priorities of multiple projects
  • Manage relationships and communicate with business partners and key stakeholders
  • Develop effective team(s) within a positive environment to deliver quality products
  • Interface with internal customers to understand their challenges in meeting deadlines and/or providing materials to brainstorm solutions
  • Define standard and best practices and drive adoption across the development teams
  • Act as the team liaison and manage and resolve conflicts
  • Analyze the impact of change request(s) to the projects overall timeline and budget
  • Clearly communicate the impact of any change
  • Assure that the Communication Field Marketing and Education department are aware of new product launches, their objectives, timelines and launch information.
  • Confirm that success criteria has been identified and the e-Business team has what they need to measure the determined KPIs
  • Collaborate with business leaders, IT professionals, and vendors ensuring that management is kept informed of project status and that problems and issues are escalated appropriately and clearly communicated
  • Direct the departments operating and capital budgets

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree required Masters degree preferred
  • Deep Project Management experience
  • Strong team leading experience
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in website, software, and/or other interactive production
