Project Manager (Core Banking – Temenos / Flexcube) recruitment

Purpose Job Description:

To ensure Company can meet the demand from current growth, it is looking to add to its existing team of Project and Programme Managers in the Financial Services Global Business Unit.  Working within the PPM team you could be placed on Financial Services assignments managing Core Banking (Temenos / Flexcube) projects and programmes of varying size and degree of complexity. These range from single, small team assignments to multi-site, multi-discipline projects and will often contain a blend of Financial Services SBU, client, Core TS/CC and 3rd party staff.  You may also be required to act as mentor as part of, or as your actual role.

Responsibilities:

• All aspects of Programme and Project management delivery

• Business Change Implementation

• Sale, definition, scooping, planning of multi disciplinary programmes

• Roll-out design and management

• Programme and project structuring

• Benefits tracking

• Client relationship management

• Programme and Project audits and reviews

• Core Banking Implementation Project Management (Temenos / Flexcube)

Requirement:

Although previous Financial Services assignment experience is desirable it is not essential.  More importantly is an individual who has extensive Core Banking (Temenos / Flexcube)  delivery experience and who has the aptitude to apply this good practice in any other BFSI project.   

• Excellent Communication and stakeholder management skills

• Builds sustainable relationships with clients at middle-top and top management level and uses these to seek out further business opportunities and increase revenue

• Capable of making formal presentations of major parts of a bid to clients and being involved in pursuits that resulted in new or additional business

• Recognised for providing effective  relationship and commercial management of pursuits in complex environments both internally and by clients

• Evidence of the successful development of staff on engagements

• Capable of acting as mentor and or reviewer; ensures staff have career and development plans and that these are achievable

• Proven ability to motivate and lead engagement teams of The Organization and client staff

• Recognised for providing effective engagement management (including on-going commercial management) in complex environments both internally and by clients.

• Proven ability to leverage the appropriate range of capabilities to bring value to clients

• Proven ability to architect innovative solutions which delivers value to clients

• Leads and guides client into thinking about the overall business change agenda

• Flexible about work content and location and able to work independently with the client on site.

• Knowledge of the Bid Management processes

• Clearly recognised for sales, delivery and subject matter leadership

• Few Core Banking (Temenos / Flexcube) Implementation leadership/Project management experience.
