Project Manager, Corporate Development/M&A, DAX listed firm
Our Client:
Is a Multinational DAX listed Corporate. They have a highly active Group MA and Corporate Development team which handles all aspects of MA transactions for the group, as well as Post Merger Integration (PMI. They are looking for an exceptional Senior Consultant from a Big 4 Transaction Services or MA team, with a track record of MA transactions or valuations (completed or otherwise).
Core Responsibilities:
-Building and using complex financial models, completing valuation and analytical exercises
-Preparing and evaluating potential target acquisitions
-Preparing marketing materials for MA related transactions
-Executing end-to-end transactions
-Assisting in defining strategy and PMI projects
Job Summary:
Roles within the business are balanced between acquiring new companies and integration projects once the MA project is complete. The role of a Project Manager would principally consist of supporting evauating targets and the execution of projects, and completing complex valuation and analytical exercises. The firm offers excellent development prospects, both in the corporate finance team and across the business units.
Your experience should bring:
-FLUENT German and English
-Excellent analytical and technical skills
-Solid corporate finance knowledge
-Very strong attention to detail
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines
-Initiative to take responsibility for a task and complete it
-Strong teamwork skills
-Demonstrable experience (between 3 and 5 years) Transaction Advisory teams
-Strong academic background
