PROJECT MANAGER – DATA – FUND MANAGER - LONDON
ROLE OVERVIEW
Fund Management IT Project Manager with strong data experience required by a leading Global Fund Manager.
This role will sit within Data IT, which is responsible for the delivery of change and maintenance of several central systems of the core application platform that services all of the company. Security data (Eagle PACE), Pricing data (Markit EDM – CADIS), Benchmarks data (CADIS), Client Portfolio data (Eagle PACE) and system integration responsibilities all sit within Data IT. Delivery responsibilities that sit within other IT departments also require data services resources to deliver change through these core systems. The team consists of project managers, business analyst, data analysts and developers supplemented by shared resources from the testing, architecture and infrastructure teams.
This role will involve focusing on a variety of different middle office Corporate areas including Finance, Treasury, Risk, Legal and Compliance etc. This role will involve facing off to both IT and the business and will involve managing multiple concurrent projects.
REQUIRED
• Strong Project Management experience
• Strong financial services experience
• Strong data experience in a variety of areas of data
• Cross-functional experience – able to comfortably liaise with various members of middle and back office
• Experience across business and IT
• Fantastic communication skills
DESIRED
• Fund Management experience
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects
• Structured management approach (ideally PRINCE2)
• Experience with at least one of the following: Eagle PACE, Markit EDM, CADIS
