Project Manager – Data Security Prevention recruitment
Responsible for the Data Security Prevention (DSP) program. Responsibilities include driving solution identification, feasibility analysis, and implementation recommendations, as well as the day-to-day management of the project teams.
Essential Responsibilities also responsible for goal delivery, including project initiation, scope and completion of technical area by directing activities of others as well as maintaining individual project responsibilities.
The Programme is split into three major streams currently:
- User Data Classifications
- User Profiles Definitions and changes
- Application Logging
- DSP Centralised Tool
- Build the strategy for the DSP across all business
- Deliver fully-managed service for Data Security Prevention tools
- Supervise resources with technical advice, direction, and problem resolution with existing application teams
- Manage the overall vendor relationship
- Assist the Information Security team in policy and rules development and implement those rules in the appropriate tools
- Respond quickly to requests from auditors, businesses, and information security
- Establishes best-in-class service(s) to protect intellectual property and user data
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the DSP support teams
- Deliver the appropriate data to feed Incident Response process and work with Info Security team on incidents and investigations when needed
- Effectively communicate project and program progress/updates
- Escalate critical issues quickly and work with vendors and others to mitigate
- Recommends rules and policies related to the data leakage prevention program
- Provide constant communication to keep management and compliance teams informed of any relevant issues.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 3 years experience in the information security or data protection areas
- Experience working with multiple Application teams and businesses
- Experience in working in the Middle East
- Self Starter
- Excellent project management skills with proven ability to drive projects through from Initiation to completion
- Demonstrated experience leading programs across multiple technologies and businesses
- Experience working with vendors, including SLA specification, Service definition and management
