Exceptional senior role for a leading financial services trading firm based in the City. The requirement is for a Project Manager to run the delivery of a global roll-out OMS (Order Management System) - this solution will cover their OTC Derivatives products.
You will have in-depth experience as a 'hands-on' Project Manager from the financial services / exchange / brokerage / investment banking or asset management space and will ideally have delivered global trading systems software project across multiple locations.
This Project Manager will be responsible for managing multiple vendor relationships (both on off-shore), planning the project including deliverables, timelines, requirements and milestones. In addition to this the successful Project Manager will work across multiple other departments (server teams, support, data admin, business tech management and internal development teams) and you will manage all release and deployment tasks.
Project Manager Applicants must be able to show:
- 5+ years minimum of software delivery project management / delivery management - ideally from the financial services / exchange / brokerage / investment banking or asset management
- Full SDLC management including experience of managing on offshore vendor relationships on a daily basis - ideally surrounding trading / OMS solutions
- Multiple stakeholder engagement (including environment server teams, networking teams, test managers
- Management of release deployment tasks and JIRA processes
- Full project lifecycle delivery
- Multi-vendor, multi-system project management work
- Matrix managing project resources
You will be a skilled productive Project Manager with excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all 'project involved' parties across the business.
The chosen Project Manager will be a motivated self-driven, delivery focussed individual with the drive to succeed in a leading financial services firm.
