Project Manager – Dodd

A top tier investment bank based in London is currently recruiting for a Project Manager with a nice focus on regulatory change, most specifically Dodd- Frank and EMIR.

The successful candidate will be managing the implementation of a range of regulatory changes within the bank and working within the banks internal change team.

The Project Manager will be responsible for:
Defining objectives, scope, approach and benefits
Leading the implementation planning in conjunction with IT
Managing stakeholders across the Rates and Credit Sales and Trading functions globally
Identifying resource requirements and associated costs in conjunction with IT
Assessing risks
Understanding where the project fits within the wider strategy of the Rates and Credit business and the Investment Bank as a whole
Keeping stakeholders informed of all aspects of project implementation
Coordinating objectives, scope, approach and plans with other initiatives to ensure alignment
Tracking and reporting on delivery to ensure accountability and transparency
Removing obstacles to progress
Resolving issues and risks as or before they arise
Managing the budget and resourcing

The ideal candidate will have come from a projects and change management background, with experience gained primarily in the financial services sector (ideally investment banking). A strong regulatory understanding and practical experience of both Dodd-Frank and EMIR is an absolute must for this particular role. Experience of working on OTC derivatives projects is of key significance.
