Project Manager Emerging Markets Product Control recruitment

An exceptional opportunity has arisen in one of Europe’s leading Investment Banks for a highly skilled Product Control Project Manager sitting within the Emerging Markets FX and Prime Product Control team.
 

The Product Control Projects team is aligned to the Emerging Markets FX and Prime business area and is focussed on delivering Finance, Front Office or IT driven projects that impact the Product Control Group.
 

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Working with line Management to understand and manage a projects book of work and managing the project lifecycle front to bank ensuring strategic vision is balanced with regular scheduled delivery.
• Defining a clear set of business requirements in line with a strategic plan for delivery whilst ensuring the clear communication of progress with senior stakeholders at all times.
• Global co-ordination where necessary (some travel may be required)
• Managing all the resources relating to the project
• Managing conflicting requirements and demand
• Driving change management, innovation and successful timely implementation
The candidate must have a thorough understanding of Product Control systems and processes to ensure they are able to successfully manage the full project lifecycle on a global level.

The ideal candidate will have:
• Demonstrable experience of project management skills ensuring projects have delivered fit for purpose solutions on time and within budget.
• Prince2/ Six Sigma or similar Project Management qualification 
• An accountancy qualification (ACA or equivalent).
• Experience within Product Control within an Investment Banking environment.
• Knowledge of FX, Equities, Prime Services and Commodities would be preferable.
