SEL is seeking several Project Managers to lead engineering teams and meeting project timelines. Project Manager(Engineering Services) - Pullman, Washington Responsibilities: Manage large, multi-discipline, international and national projects. Be the primary customer contact for a project throughout all phases of the project. Resolve customer concerns and foster customer satisfaction. Manage customer expectations. Manage the schedule and budget of projects with several engineers, subcontractors, and end-user customers. Develop and maintain a working knowledge of power system automation, controls, protection, and modeling practices, protocols, equipment and software. Develop and maintain a fundamental knowledge about SEL equipment and software. Work daily with project technical lead engineers to bring a project to successful conclusion. Negotiate and administer fair and appropriate contracts with customers, subcontractors and equipment suppliers. Run daily meetings, delegate tasks, evaluate performance, and provide regular project summaries for internal and external customers. Mentor and train project coordinators. Create, follow and improve processes. Qualifications: Bachelors of Science degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Physics or Chemistry PMP ( Project Management Professional) certified. Over five years relevant experience as a project manager of electric power system projects Excellent presentation and writing skills Skilled at conflict resolution Willing to travel nationally and internationally up to 30% Ability to work independently, accepting complete ownership of assigned responsibilities Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment Background check results satisfactory to SEL Negative drug test result(s) SEL is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
