Project Manager – EUC Rationalization recruitment

Job Description

To support the Group Finance Systems function on the various global initiatives driven as part of the Finance Transformation Program and ensure proper planning, execution successful completion of projects within the stipulated time without compromising the quality of delivery.

The Job holder will be primarily involved in the re-engineering initiatives / projects in the Finance systems and Operations team with focus on EUC (End User Computing) Rationalisation which aims to reduce the number of EUCs used for Daily FM PnL production and the associated operational risk, ensure technical integrity and automate PC workflow.

Key Roles Responsibilities

• Designs and implements an organisational project structure that works effectively and maximises efficiency.
• Manage day to day operational aspects of project
• Develop detailed project plans and milestones using appropriate tracking mechanism.
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
• Assess resource requirement and highlight to the senior management and the project group on a timely basis.
• Effectively co-ordinate and run Project working committee and Project Steering committee meetings
• To ensure user requirements are documented clearly in the form of Business requirement and Functional Specification documents.
• To obtain and record approvals received from users on the business requirements.
• Effectively communicate project expectations to technology team members and work closely on implementations.
• Actively coordinate and participate in User acceptance test and ensure closure of open findings in a timely manner and record User acceptance sign offs
• To highlight potential risks that arises impacting the scope, time and cost of the project on a real time basis to Program heads and Stake holders as appropriate
• Liaise and maintain cordial working relationship with project peer group on an ongoing basis.
• Comply with Group policy requirement on project management.

Qualifications Skills

• Industry experience of 10-15 years on a similar capacity required.
• Working experience of automation of processes and implementation of BPMS methodology is essential.
• Strong knowledge of Product Control processes particularly around Cancel/Amends and Off Market Rate reporting workflows is essential.
• Working Knowledge on Ms Office suite of products especially Ms Project Ms Visio.
• Resilient, Enthusiastic Result Oriented; a change driver who challenges the status quo in a creative manner.
• Adept at handling multiple tasks at once and within an extremely deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to work within a highly matrixed and fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills and presentation skills, both oral and written.
• Strong track record of delivering projects which are multifaceted.
• Ability to demonstrate the Bank’s values in achieving objectives
