Project Manager, Global Reconciliation Utility Change Team recruitment
Project Managers are assigned to individual programmes within Global Reconciliations Utility. The role is to provide expert analysis of Operations issues, to define corresponding solutions and to implement these solutions. The role will also include ad-hoc project support on an as-needed basis. The role will incorporate a number of elements including; the implementation of improved governance around reconciliations delivery for EMEA working in partnership with clients / technology; representing EMEA interests within a global Front-to-Back initiative to improve controls and facilitate the creation of a Global Reconciliations Utility.
- Documenting reconciliation landscape for EMEA (people / process / technical) and mapping into global BAU / service models.
- Define EMEA Reconciliation delivery governance model (including client interaction / external partnership / technical partnership)
- Develop alone, or work with others, to define strategies aligned with GRU strategy and goals
- Work in partnership with clients, provide recommendations for improving reconciliation service and ensure EMEA has a voice into tactical strategic programmes / EMEA expectations are understood actively managed
- Define a roadmap / timeline for agreement with the key stakeholders
- Develop robust and measurable Business Cases to capture quantitative ROI using standard financial methods
- Develop individual project artifacts as necessary, including Business Requirements Documentation (BRD's), Functional Requirements Documentation (FRD's), test scripts/execution (using OMG UML standards)
- Work with GRU projects to ensure consistent project management methodologies across the group
- Identify key project risks, whether stated or not, and manage to resolution or escalate accordingly
- Assist in the organization and delivery of a presentations for a variety of purposes
- Assist in ad-hoc duties of the GRU Change head as necessary
Skills
Previous Experience:
- Real-world experience in analysis, design and implementation
- Real-world experience in the capture, collation, definition and documentation of business and technology requirements.
- Experience in Financial Services, preferably with Citi
- Credible experience of successfully implemented projects in the financial services industry, preferably within Citi
- Experience should ideally involve large scale implementations
- Practical Operations processing experience in a CMB product line - FX, Loans, CRMS, Derivatives, Equities, Fixed Income and Reconciliations controls
- Managing, organizing and prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities
- Preparing and executing test scripts
