This is an exceptional opportunity to join one of the world's leading Investment Banks in a senior and challenging role in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Due to regional organisational growth and increasing technology capability demands, they are now looking for a Senior Project Manager to provide end-to-end delivery of Infrastructure solutions for the Financial Markets.
The focus of the role is to respond to the technology capability demands of front office, middle office and back office as well as firm-wide infrastructure requirements. You will provide consultancy and advisory services to the business, software developers and infrastructure specialists, delivering high-quality end-to-end infrastructure solutions for the firm across global markets, corporate services and IT development.
While leveraging your project management skills and experience in resource management, stakeholder management, vendors management, scheduling, budget forecasting and constraints, you will identify and recommend new technology which will add value to the financial markets business in terms of performance, capability and cost. This will be aimed at delivering state-of-the-art technologies as well as reducing decision-making and implementation times.
Experience and technical skills required:
- 3-5 years in project management within Investment Banking or Trading environment: ESSENTIAL
- Proven track-record in Financial Markets Infrastructure IT Delivery: ESSENTIAL
- Experience delivering technologies for Front Office, Middle and Back Office
- Understanding of security, audit and regulatory requirements
- Experience in Infrastructure Solution design, planning and execution
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN networks, application servers
- Experience in Service Delivery within a Professional Framework ( ITIL)
- Experience with Corporate Technology and maintaining Vendor relationships
- Prince II, PMP certification preferred
Non technical skills required include:
- Excellent communication skills: written, verbal and interpersonal
- Creative thinker, able to present ideas in business user-friendly language
- Able to lead, prioritize and execute in high-pressure environment
- Problem owner and solver with a logical approach to solving issues
- Strong focus on service delivery and overall quality of services provided
- Ability to define and implement strategy effectively
- Self-sufficient, highly motivated, resourceful individual
