Job Title: Project Manager for Mainframe Domain TSA Exit Implementation
We are looking for a Project Manager for an infrastructure initiative which is part of a larger program which has a PMO overseeing all the infrastructure initiatives of the program. There are multiple PMOs for different groups of initiatives. There is an IMO for the overall program.
The Project Manager needs to prepare a weekly status report and attend and talk to it at infrastructure PMO lead calls for all infrastructure initiatives. There is also some reporting that is required by the IMO that the project manager might have to prepare for our specific initiative.
Again we need a Project Manager to prepare status reports, update project plans, which get sent TO the PMO.
We are not the PMO.
We need someone with Project Management experience on mainframe infrastructure type projects. We are not looking for PMO skills or application development skills.
Specifics for this project:
Project Management No 5+ Years
Project involves mainframe infrastructure technologies (experience managing such as project is a plus)
Senior enough to be the Project Lead's backup when required
Alternating with or assisting other mainframe PMs with:
- Setting up agendas, running and taking and distributing minutes on weekly 8:00-9:00 PM calls with Japan
- Setting up agendas, running and taking minutes on weekly Mainframe Domain calls
- Updating and producing OMM status reports and financial reports for management and the PMO / IMO
- Participating in PMO led calls to review the OMM and report status.
- Updating the project plan tasks for the initiative with progress updates from the task owners
- Building and updating the production implementation hourly project plan (playbook)
- Assisting with other PMO requirements as they come up
Project involves US team members direct interaction with Japanese speaking leaders and team members in Tokyo (Japanese language skills are a plus)
