Project Manager-Intermediate

As an IT Project Manager you will be responsible for employing best practices of project management and methods and techniques to ensure successful completion of technology and business related projects, including system upgrades or implementations. Projects can vary from small, short term projects through large, enterprise level projects across functional areas. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Produce ormanage the production of the entire portfolio of project deliverables, including project timeliness, cost benefit analysis, task and issue tracking, etc. - Managethe Release Process of all system changes and production fixes to the system. - Writebusiness requirements, communicate changes to the team, work with 3rd party vendors and coordinate the process of the software releases. - Coordinate the delivery of multiple projects, developing cost benefit analyses for the program - Communicate to an executive committee, create and report program status utilizing a dashboard, allocating resources across the multiple projects, defining project governance policies and managing the financial concerns of the program. - Utilize and effectively communicate technical components of an initiative to applicable parties. Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: - Minimum four years of experience with dedicated project management using industry standard project management tools and techniques. - Bachelor's degree or four yearsequivalent experience. - Microsoft Project: Project plan creation and maintenance and conceptualization of project components and deliverables. - Ability to facilitate project planning meetings to articulate project components and deliverables. - Knowledge of information technology and applications. - Solid understanding of System Release Management and SDLC - Must have be able to effectively use the following software package : Remedy, Visio, MS Project, Word, Excel, Power Point - Experience managing relationship with third party vendor - Self motivated well organized and have strong innovation and facilitation skills. - Proven oral/written communication skills along with the ability to present large business initiatives - Ability to interface effectively with all levels and across organizational lines, including the business units - Demonstrate success at building teams relationships across organization lines.
