Project manager required to deliver on multi-year transformation projects from inceptions stage at a leading interdealer broker and a provider of post trade services.
Essential:
- Strong project management skills from the financial services.
- Ability to demonstrate structured, process oriented approach to project delivery combined with a deadline oriented mentality
- Good communicator - able to influence stakeholder decision making
- Polished presentation skills
- Strong software background; Reasonable knowledge of web technologies
In this high profile role, you will be managing project budgets across numerous concurrent projects within their electronic broking division. You will be creating and maintaining project artefacts including project planning, issues, risk lists etc. The current focus will be on developing our corporate treasury trading solution but you will also be rolling out additional asset classes and deploying new trading applications. You will need to have a strong ability in liaising directly with vendors and internal development teams to ensure that delivery is on time/to budget as well as ensuring that appropriate change control, software configuration management and quality assurance processes are in place. In addition, you will provide regular status summaries to IT management and stakeholders.
