Job Summary:
The Project Manager plans, schedules, coordinates, organizes and leads all aspects of project management, including vendor selection and management. This position will manage multiple large Infrastructure and Software Development projects and monitor customer driven changes, assess and communicate impact to the budget to customers and leadership.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage multiple large projects that are consistent with the strategic goals of the organization
• Coordinate user group sessions to define business requirements and specifications using standard business requirements gathering methodologies.
• Assist business unit managers in prioritizing new projects, enhancement projects for existing systems, and system maintenance requests.
• Manage project scope, change requests along with external client expectations.
• Estimate staff resource needs for successful project delivery.
• Conduct risk management assessments for respective projects. Assess alternative system approaches for workability and economic feasibility. Recommend projects to IT management and users for approval.
• Manage complex, multi-phase projects with budgets ranging generally from 10K to 10MM
• Drive vendor selection for projects based upon analysis and due diligence.
• Negotiate vendor contracts in coordination with Purchasing and Legal and in accordance with Brink’s legal guidelines
• Plan and manage project resources for each project (generally between 6 and 18 resources). Estimate staff resource needs for successful project delivery.
• Develop and maintain productive working relationship with project sponsors and key systems users.
• Formalize project activities using standard methodology and guides a project acceptance as a production system.
• Partner with business unit managers to prioritize new projects, enhancement projects for existing systems, and system maintenance requests. Create support model documentation for respective projects. Create deployment and training plan documents for respective projects. Prepare regular project status reports in accordance with PMO guidelines

Position Requirements:
Basic Qualifications
• Minimum 1 year experience managing Infrastucture projects AND Software Development Projects
• Minimum of 6 years IT project management experience
• Minimum of 1 year experience managing a project with 5 or more direct reports
• Minimum of 1 year experience with MS Project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Business
• PMP certification
• Previous experience managing Agile SCRUM software development lifecycles
• Proven ability to manage project team resources in a matrix environment
• Proven ability to apply business process re-engineering to develop effective solutions to business problems
