PROJECT MANAGER Job in Albuquerque, New Mexico US

Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. (NYSE:APD), a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases and chemicals, has two (2) openings for Project Managers at its facility located in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The Project Manager will be responsible to plan, direct, and coordinate activities in such fields as manufacturing and engineering or research and development in these fields. Additional responsibilities will be to:

• Coordinate and direct projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
• Lead and report on all projects assigned from receipt of customer order through installation/commissioning/training at end user facility.
• Work with Manufacturing and Engineering Managers to assign duties to workers engaged in technical control and production equipment.
• Act as liaison between engineering and production departments to keep assigned projects on schedule.
• Confer with operations supervisors and commercial team to formulate and maintain fair and attainable technical specifications for equipment.
• Work with MS Project and SAP scheduling tools.
• Use SAP and other available tools, analyze technology, resource needs, and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (Engineering preferred - Mechanical, Process or Electrical)
- Post graduate work is desired in Engineering or Business fields
- At least 5 years experience in managing projects as part of a team as the primary accountable manager
