Fit Out PM – North - 125k Package
My client is the benchmark of the fitout industry. With over 10 years in the market, they have developed a reputation of being industry leaders in Retail, Commercial and Hospitality fitout projects
Their client list includes many of Melbourne's landmark buildings, pubs restaurants
With over 60 staff and a purpose built factory, my client uses state of the art equipment and offers excellent training.
Key responsibilities would involve:
- Responsible for delivering multiple projects from pre-construction through to defect liability and hand over period
- Deliver your project to the highest standard of client satisfaction and quality
- Letting of all trades and services contracts; including subcontractor negotiation to obtain best price
- Closely control project expenditure and assurance that purchase orders/invoices are approved within the limit of authority
- Manage and coach Project Coordinators, Site Managers and Site Coordinators
- Generate construction programmes to ensure detailed planning of time, costs and quality of projects
- Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders
- Implement and manage client project delivery systems
- OHSE responsibilities as outlined in the OHSE manual
Key requirements:
- Have strong understanding of project management methodology within the construction industry (ideally fitout and refurbishment)
- Excellent knowledge of OHSE principles
- Building related degree or diploma (desirable), or trade background
- MS Office - MS Project, Word and Excel experience is essential
- Demonstrated experience in timely delivery of high end projects
- Proven managerial experience
- Must be able to work autonomously
- The ability to manage a project from inception to completion
