Job Title: Project Manager
Job Summary: EMCOR Government Services has an immediate need for a Project Manager in Cincinnati, OH. This position involves operations and maintenance planning, organizing, coordinating, directing and controlling all contract functions between EMCOR and our client.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Fully responsible for the successful completion of all aspects of the assigned contract between EGS and the client.
· Prepares quarterly financial forecasts and monthly updates. Ensures that the contract is managed in a manner that meets all contractual requirements and financial goals
· With the assistance of a Chief Engineer, leads a team of technical employees.
· Provide administrative and technical direction and supervision to staff in completing work assignments.
· Discuss, plan and delegate major project assignments to supervisory staff; determine building and maintenance priorities that are of significant scope.
· Advise, discuss and inform Client Facilities Staff members on physical plant matters and problem areas.
· Ensures proper upkeep of facilities to include heating, ventilation, air conditioning, sanitation, general appearance of buildings and grounds and emergency situations affecting the facilities
· Maintains liaison with architects, engineers and contractors/ subcontractors engaged in renovation, or other major projects.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a Bachelors degree and/or at least ten (10) years work related experience in leading facilities operations or maintenance of buildings greater than 400,000 sq ft.
- General working knowledge of major facilities systems, e.g., RS Means, MAXIMO, acumen with Government contracting procedures.
- Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, direct, and control all aspects of facilities activities
- Ability to work with the customer to find mutually satisfactory solutions to difficult issues.
- Ability to work with management systems and variety of skilled/unskilled, professional, administrative, and industry personnel.
- The incumbent must have knowledge of submitting written proposals, scopes of work, scheduling and coordinating site contractors and other assigned personnel; a through understanding of preventive maintenance schedules and operations and the ability to meet demanding customer requirements.
- Strong experience with Windows and MS Office
- Demonstrated skill at developing and nurturing client relationships
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
