Position Description:

An ERP Project Manager is responsible for overall project delivery and project management of Microsoft Dynamics ERP implementations as well as developing project-level client relationships.  A Project Manager may be responsible for one project or several projects.  Client projects may vary in size and industry, but the Project Manager’s role is to ensure successful project delivery.  This will require the Project Manager to perform detailed tasks on projects such as requirements definition, process analysis and definition, system configuration, or testing.    

 

A Project Manager should focus on developing and maintaining client relationships to identify up selling and cross selling opportunities. In addition to project delivery and client relationship responsibilities, the Project Manager will also be responsible for coaching and mentoring project Team Members on methodology, business processes and technology.  A Project Manager will be responsible for evaluating individual Team Member performance on projects. All remaining time will be spent on coaching and team building, personal training, and completing administrative tasks.

 

Consulting work will be primarily performed at our client sites.  Some amount of overnight travel (up to 25%) is inherent in any consulting business and will be required of our Team Members.  Client locations may also be spread out over a geographic area and will require additional daily driving time for Team Members to reach their work site. Tribridge will reimburse for mileage and out of town travel expenses incurred while working on client sites according to the Tribridge stated policies.

Responsibilities:

·         Analyze business processes to identify opportunities for improvement

·         Gather and understand client system requirements for software selections or custom application design

·         Implement and deploy Microsoft Dynamics packaged applications (GP - Great Plains, SL - Solomon, NAV- Navision, AX - Axapta, MS CRM)

·         Integrate business processes and systems

·         Develop data conversion and testing strategies

·         Train end users to use new processes or technology

·         Prepare for and lead client meetings and facilitated strategy sessions

·         Develop and manage project budget and scope

·         Identify additional up selling and cross selling opportunities for Tribridge

·         Ensure overall client satisfaction

·         Evaluate and provide formal and informal coaching and feedback to Team Members

·         Assist in recruiting process by qualifying candidates and promoting Tribridge

 

 

Education, Certifications and Experience:

·         4- year degree in business, MIS, or equivalent required; advanced degrees, a plus

·         PMI Certification preferred

·         2 plus years of project management experience managing teams of 5 to 15 people required

·         ERP Full Life Cycle Implementation management experience required (Oracle; SAP; MS Dynamics GP, NAV, AX, SL; PeopleSoft; JD Edwards; Lawson; Epicor)

·         Experience with management of MS Dynamics preferred (GP, NAV, AX, SL)

·         5 years of consulting experience preferred

·         Large consulting organization experience preferred

·         Deep  functional knowledge of core business processes such as accounting, manufacturing, distribution, and/or sales required
