Title: Project Manager Location: null Other Locations: null CIBER is currently seeking a Project Manager in Southfield, MI to develop and manage work breakdown structure (WBS) of information technology projects. * Develop or update project plans for information technology projects including information such as project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing. * Manage project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope. * Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. * Assign duties, responsibilities, and spans of authority to project personnel. * Coordinate recruitment or selection of project personnel. * Develop implementation plans that include analyses such as cost-benefit or return on investment (ROI). * Direct or coordinate activities of project personnel. * Establish and execute a project communication plan. * Candidates should have at least 10 years working experience in the Information Technology industry. * The successful candidate will have at least 8 years of Project Management experience, including personnel management, risk assessment, mitigation strategies, and delivery management. * Experienced background in Full Lifecycle Development of software including requirements gathering, design, data modeling, business/technical specifications, coding, testing, and implementation phases. * Project experience must include new development; hardware evaluation, installation and configuration and large scale external customers. * Experience in Project Management methodologies that focus on standardized processes, preferably in the SEI CMM arena. * At least 5 years experience with successful large scale, on-time deliveries and initiatives. * Experience maintaining profitability of projects. * Successful resource management and mentoring experience with teams of technical professionals. * Strong leadership, operational, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills required. * Experience in the sales process and facilitation of client meetings. * Must be comfortable speaking to and in front of executive-level stakeholders.
