Project Manager 3: Role Summary- Lead professional employee who serves as direct line supervisor of business solutions projects in support of assigned applications area. Develops, sells, and implements project plans, beginning with project team structure and resource assignment, and ending with a control plan identifying both business process metrics and IT platform quality requirements. Essential Responsibilities: Utilizes Quality discipline to manage new application development projects through complete project lifecycles. Manage project scope, cost and timeline to deliver business benefit through a technology solution Interacts with business users to gather and validate requirements and develop detailed specifications and designs. Leads an on site and off-shore team for new application development. Leads architecture design and code reviews. Leads systems, integration and user acceptance testing, and roll-out of new applications. Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience with 2+ years experience in IT Design, Development and Project Management. Possesses application development experience and skills. Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States. Must be willing to comply with pre-employment screening, including but not limited to, drug testing, reference verification and background check. Must be willing to travel as needed. Desired Characteristics: Possess problem solving, prioritization, presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to make recommendations to all levels of the organization. Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle at least 5 projects which have been through all the phases of SDLC, including requirements gathering, analysis and design, development tools and technologies, release and version control, contemporary testing methodologies, deployment management, and financial tracking. Ability to concurrently manage multiple projects. Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate staff and to apply skills and techniques to solve dynamic problems. Experience with Agile, Scrum, and/or Lean Software Development Experience with Six Sigma methodology and/or Black Belt certification. Ability to coneptualize system solutions to business problems. Strong project management skills including budgeting, resource estimates, project scheduling, and prioritizing.
