Project Managers
Sprague-Rosser Contracting is a civil, industrial and commercial construction
company that was founded over 45 years ago. Our company is growing quickly
and we are looking for reliable team players to grow with us.
We are currently seeking Project Managers to assume responsibility for
project management on large scale underground and earthworks projects in
Edmonton, Fort McMurray and Saskatoon.
Duties include (but are not limited to):
§ Oversee the execution of project work including contract administration,
quality control, planning and cost control
§ Understanding and interpreting drawings
§ Management of materials, suppliers and subcontractors
§ Lead and/or participate in project planning and safety meetings
§ Maintenance of relationships between site personnel, managers and owners
§ Implement corporate safety and environmental policies and procedures
to protect worker and public safety.
§ Ensure project schedule and design are proceeding in accordance with
the project plan
§ Ability to resolve problems diplomatically and without incident as they
arise and identify potential problems
§ Maintain and code project filing system to track all job related
documentation
Required Skills:
§ Graduate of an academic or technical program (i.e., Civil Engineering,
Civil Engineering Technology, or Construction Management)
§ 3+ years experience
§ Winter work experience
§ Computer savvy (specifically in Outlook, Word, Excel and MS Project)
§ Strong interpersonal and communication skills
§ Proven ability to work as a capable leader and a team player
§ Fluent in English (both written and verbal)
§ Valid Driver’s Licence
