Project Manager Job in Leicestershire, Midlands UK
Project Manager - ERP, change, prince2, risk - Leicestershire - £45k-£50k+car
You will be required to define and deliver a number of IT related Business Change projects to agreed time, quality and budget using Prince2 based methodology. The projects will differ in size and complexity, requiring the use of internal resources and external suppliers.
Responsibilities:
- Produce, manage and execute agreed project plans
- Manage project issues, risks and changes
- Ensure that project objectives and scope are clearly defined
- Develop and deliver effective communication plans ensuring stakeholders are kept informed of project objectives and progress
- Cultivate relationships in the business
- Improve the IT portfolio and project management tools / processes
- The role will involve regular travel throughout the UK
The successful candidate with have excellent communication skills and the track record of delivering to agreed deadlines, costs and quality.
Skills, knowledge and experience:
- An experienced Prince2 practitioner
- Previous experience of delivering companywide projects
- Expert in risk management tools and techniques
- Proven experience in contract and supplier management
- Good understanding of processes throughout the ERP footprint - financial, commercial, manufacturing and procurement
- Good understanding of data integration methods
- Excellent communication skills
- A pragmatic approach to Project Management
- Experience implementing the JDEdwards ERP package (advantageous but not essential)
