Project Manager. Our client, a global energy company is looking for a project manager to oversee a number of infrastrcuture projects. You will be required to manages projects or multiple work streams including project plan, scope, cost, work schedule and contractual deliverables. Applies PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) techniques and methods. Single point of accountability for the success of the program/projects and single point of authority for all related decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Managing capabilities and resources in response to changing business dynamics
- Defining and monitoring policies and procedures
- Managing the relationship with the client and other suppliers and leading program governance
- Implementing the quality program
- Acting as escalation point for issue resolution
- Ensuring delivery to the project plan and budget
- Providing effective interface with the highest levels within the client organizations and bringing strategic value to the relationship
- Maintaining service levels in accordance with project SLAs
- Ensuring appropriate standards and quality are maintained
- Providing full project reporting
- Deliver project according to agreed standards
- Manage project team activities to deliver on agreed targets and budget
- Communicate and coordinate day-to-day project activities within the project team and assure that priorities are developed and known
- Assure that project milestones / targets are clearly communicated understood within and outside the project such that the appropriate parties can marshal resources and activities to align with project delivery
- Record and report project progress as agreed with line management and stakeholders
- PMI Certification required
