Manage assigned projects for Investment Management IT according to the essential functions of a Project Manager:

* Effectively manage multiple projects of varying sizes and durations simultaneously.

* Proficiently lead teams of varying sizes backgrounds for assigned projects consisting of IT and/or business users and assigns tasks appropriately.

* Establish and maintain project plans, effectively report progress as required, generate risk assessments, escalate issues, develop monitor mitigation contingency plans, and facilitate project review presentations.

* Effectively facilitate meetings related to the project(s), documenting resulting decisions actions as appropriate.

* Work with developers, operations, analysts and business staff on assigning tasks, establishing project deliverables and scheduling of those tasks and deliverables.

* Obtain approval from project sponsor(s) and/or primary stakeholder(s) and control the project scope, priorities, change management process and overall project schedules.

* Contribute to thoughtful and creative discussions with project sponsor(s), department and division management on resources and scheduling, plans and challenges.

* Assist IT management with the utilization of resources for project planning activities.

* Analyze project data on assigned projects for the improvement of future project processes.

* May mentor train less-experienced project management analysts.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or the equivalent and 7 years progressive experience in business systems analysis and/or process analysis, with at least 4 years of project management experience.

Skills include:
* An in-depth understanding of the project management, application development and quality assurance testing lifecycles for in-house application development and 3rd party application implementations.

* High proficiency with project management methodologies tools. Knowledge experience with Agile or other iterative methodologies required. Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Project SharePoint highly preferred.

* Strong problem solving and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Must possess exceptional interpersonal skills, exhibit poise and exercise diplomacy in communication, conflict management and decision-making.

* Must be truly comfortable working with department and division management, business staff, software engineers, business systems analysts and network engineers.

* Must be a self-starter, comfortable in a lead role, very organized, detail-oriented, effectively managing their time and be a strong team player who can adapt rapidly to new developments and changing priorities.

* Investment industry knowledge experience is a definite plus.

* PMP certification highly preferred.
