Aveta Health Solutions, a leader in the managed care industry, has an immediate opening for a Project Manager in Ontario, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Working with the Chief Operations Officer and various department heads, the Project Manager will develop, coordinate and direct highly visible, sensitive and multi-faceted projects, including new strategic initiatives, due diligence and transition plans.  Additionally, this individual will also be involved in company process improvement efforts.
• Translate business requirements to develop and implement project plans, which identify key actions, performance metrics, deadlines, required resources and responsible parties
• Oversee multi-disciplinary teams, and manage work of certain outside consultants
• Manage change and/or conflicts within any project in an effective, timely and appropriate manner.
• Manage expectations and relationships between the Project Sponsor, Project Stakeholder, Project Team and external customers and vendors.
• Track and provide feedback to teams on performance and productivity
• Accountable for the development of project documentation for presentation to senior executives, key clients or outside third parties
• Design and execute research plans for data gathering and analysis, and actively participate in developing recommendations and action plans
• Participation in and oversight of LEAN project initiatives including developing project updates for the senior management team

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or work equivalent in Business Administration, Health Care Administration or Operations Research.
• Coursework in project management required.
• Project management certification (PMP) preferred
• Minimum 3+ years of project management experience, prefer experience in health care or service industry.
• 2+ years supervisory experience
• Proven ability to evaluate key business objectives and develop appropriate action plans from multi-disciplinary  perspectives
• Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office products especially development of excel worksheets, MS Project plans and powerpoint presentations to support project plans
• Working knowledge of IT and IT testing systems and standard data transfer methods.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct and interpret quantitative and qualitative reports
• Six Sigma or LEAN experience a plus
