JOB DESCRIPTION: PROJECT MANAGER
Job Description
· Leads the initiation, planning, and execution of project initiatives
- Provides input into project scope and coordinates project estimates for contracts/proposals/statements of work
- Develops any necessary documentation to clearly communicate project requirements and parameters both with internal teams, as well as with Clients. This may include: Project Scope/Definition Project Plan, Timelines, Site Maps, Process Flow Charts, Reporting Requirements, User or Client Documentation, Test Plans, etc
- Procures internal and external resources for assigned projects
- Works with all functional groups such as Account Services, Technology, Creative, Content, etc, to execute all aspects of project development
- Assists in and is responsible for quality assurance of all deliverables
- Ensures that projects are delivered on time and within budget
· Manage ongoing project communications
- Conducts regular team meetings to assess project status and address outstanding issues
- Regularly communicates status of projects and issues to both the project team and team supervisors
- Acts as liaison between the Client and internal team to communicate project needs and any development-related issues such as content/asset delivery, file formats, schedule, and any open issues
- Escalates any major road-blocks or risk factors to team supervisors and/or upper management; initiates activities to quickly resolve issues
· Responsible for account profitability
o Helps establish budget and budget parameters with appropriate internal personnel
o Responsible for budget tracking and reporting throughout the project lifecycle
o Ensures compliance with budget and budget parameters
o Defines and manages a change-control process for assigned projects; provides Account Management with information to price and justify changes for client discussion/negotiation
· Continually re-evaluate current processes to recommend and implement improvements
· Responsible for adhering to corporate-mandated administrative duties (eg, timesheets, expense reports, status/financial/percent completion reports, etc)
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree
· At least 3 years of project management experience
· Customer-focused and quality oriented
· Extremely detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
· Exceptional ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
· Ability to present ideas and information concisely and effectively
· A problem solver with strong analytical skills
· Resourceful with excellent follow-through skills
· Proven leadership qualities (assertiveness, taking charge, ability to provide guidance, decisive, etc)
· Proposes innovative approaches through creative and original thought and action
· Self-starting and responsible
· Positive attitude
· Experience managing multimedia programs and/or in Pharmaceutical/healthcare a plus
