Position Description:

As member of the Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO), this individual will be responsible for managing projects directly. The project manager will enforce and adhere to standards and methodologies related to cost, schedule, and resource management. They will also work closely with teams at partners, customers, and vendors to ensure standardization and governance is applied consistently across coordinated projects.

Key responsibilities of this position include:

 

·         Definition of critical path and project scope

·         Tracking projects per established baseline

 

Requirements:

 

·         At least 5 years experience in software development

·         At least 3 years experience in project management

·         Exceptional interpersonal skills and written communication skills

·         Strong knowledge of Project Management processes - experience in all phases of the project management life cycle.

·         Development of project deliverables including initiation documentation, project planning, WBS, project schedule development, project change control, issue risk management practices, and project documentation control

·         Solid analytical, problem-solving and financial analysis skills

·         Expert knowledge of MS Project or equivalent

·         Good multi-tasking skills required

·         Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment to accomplish a common goal

·         Ability to manage local and remote project teams across multiple time zones

 

Additional Preferences

·         Bachelor degree or equivalent experience

·         PMP or similar certifications

·         Experience in Automotive Retail, Banking, Financial Services, or related industries

·         Experience with OO programming languages, especially Java or .NET

·         Experience with Web Services, SOA, or related technologies

·         Experience with Rules Engine Technologies
