Project Manager Job in Telecommute
OBOXSolutions is seeking to fill a Project Manager Role. This will be a permanent position. And a Telecommute Role. The Client will require limited travel. All interested Candidates must US Citizens or Green Card Holders. We are seeking a technical project manager with a minimum five years experience in project management. Minimum three years experience in applications architecture and programming. Position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills. You must have experience in writing status reports, risk management, and change control. Must have experience in writing both functional and technical specifications.
Skills
· Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Visio
· Knowledge of PowerPoint
· Experience in MS Project and with project and resource scheduling
· Proficient in at least one project management methodology
· Knowledge in .Net or Java, for the purposes of building primarily web based systems
· Proficient in SQL (SQL server or Oracle)
· Proficient in the creation of entity relationship diagrams
You must be able to discuss business requirements with a client and from that develop functional requirements documentation. Afterwards, you need to be able to develop a vision for a system to meet those functional requirements, develop an appropriate technical architecture, develop technical specifications, and then guide and manage a team of programmers to implement the technical specifications. You should be someone that enjoys managing more than one project at a time, as this is highly likely.
