Project Manager – Performance and Front Office Bloomberg AIM recruitment

Position Description / Special skills required: Performance and Front Office Sr. Project Manager:
To work with Americas investment management and Global Performance teams to support the ongoing operation of Bloomberg AIM and other Front Office Support tools, as well as the Global Performance systems. 

Key Responsibilities:
This role is part of the Operations and Technology Team, which provides support to the ongoing usage of Bloomberg AIM and Performance solutions globally. This person shall provide local support to users in the Americas offices, and coordinate with other regional teams and/or Bloomberg for issue escalation. The role shall perform analysis of both functional and non-functional requirements and issues of the -Americas based investment management teams and Global based Performance teams to support the overall program road map. Bloomberg and Performance experience required.  Experience with Factset, Barra, Market QA, Point, or Atlas are a major plus!

The main duties include, but are not limited to:
*    Provide daily support to the Performance and investment management teams
*    Identify and resolve business, system, data and operational gaps
*    Assist with appropriate workshops as part of implementation phase
*    Asses the current platform, work with business on the proposal for a future state strategic platform, work with all teams (refer to below) to implement the solution
O    Portfolio Managers
O    Traders
O    Portfolio Manager Assistants 
O    Research Analysts
O    Legal Compliance
O    Performance teams
O    Operation teams
*    Review any applications either internal or external that the front office current use. Then plan either their retirement or migration to the strategic front office solution.
*    Data migration. Including planning, data collection and data transformation
*    Training oversight
*    Post live support

Selection Criteria
Assuming that the asset classes are broadly Fixed Income and Equity, the candidate must be able to demonstrate knowledge in the following key areas:
*    Fixed Income and Equity product knowledge.
*    Asset management experience
*    Performance and Front Office experience (i.e. ROR, Attribution, decision support, OMS,     trade execution, STP, allocation, compliance)
*    Workshop experience
*    Training experience

Special Aptitudes I Skills -The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

*     Good prioritization, time management, administrative and organizational skills.

*     Very good written and oral communication skills
*     Factset, Barra, Market QA, Point, Atlas experiences are a major plus.
