General Job Description The Project Manager is responsible for accomplishing the objectives of the Business Plan and strives to maintain the progress and productive mutual interaction of the cross-functional team members in such a way as to complete all projects successfully. Job Functions/Duties (may include other duties as assigned) Travels at least 20% of time as necessary. Leads the cross-functional team members in developing an integrated business plan and project contract for approval by management. Identifies opportunities to develop existing business accounts as well as to grow new business. Identifies opportunities for improvement and makes suggestions for constructive changes. Manages the development of team members by ensuring that project tasks are compatible with Product Managers interests. Identifies and obtains the necessary resources to execute all projects. Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Manages day-to-day operational aspects of the scope of each project. Manages identification of risk as a result of unforeseen events and leads efforts through planning and management to diminish that risk. Drives execution of project deliverables in order to meet rigorous quality standards. Work Experience Travel experience required. Project management experience required. Education BA/BS in business related field. Knowledge of development life cycles and project management tools. Trained in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Access and Project. Physical Requirements Works under general office environmental conditions.
