Project Manager, Pricing: # Position Summary: Staples Contract is our $6B+ channel serving medium large business customers. Project Manager, Pricing asociate will lead the effort to ensure appropriate strategies and processes are in place to provide a high level of support to the field Sales Team and ultimately - customers. Primary Responsibilities: - Proactively assess current processes and drive alternatives and improvements that lead to efficiencies for Sales, Pricing, and the Contract division - Prioritize and manage strategic initiatives throughout the project lifecycle - Partner across the organization to leverage available and appropriate resources - Lead internal and external team members to migrate pricing contracts and rules into the Staples environment - Develop processes and procedures that ensure accuracy and consistency across the platform - Design measurement and assessment methodology to assess project ROI and benefits Provide analysis, insight, direction and actionable recommendations to Sales Management - Lead ad-hoc projects as needed in support of Pricing - The ideal candidate will enjoy working closely with sales and cross-functionally within Staples to drive initiatives. This person must possess a high level of logical thinking and the ability to visualize and drive processes from design to implementation Qualifications Qualifications: Basic: - Bachelor degree required - Minimum 4 to 6 Years of Pricing experience required Preferred: - Excellent working knowledge of PC applications: MS Excel required, MS Access preferable - Aptitude for learning different pricing and business models - Excellent oral and written skills - Flexible, detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem solving skills, and the ability to think strategically - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, balance workload effectively, assess need for immediate action and prioritize multiple tasks - Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams Job: Sales/Telesales Location(s): US-MA-Framingham Schedule: Full-time Job Level: Manager/Supervisor Shift: Day Job Job Type: Experienced Employment Statement Staples is an Equal Opportunity Employer who values the diversity of our people, products, and services.
