Project Manager – Product Controller recruitment
A leading investment bank is looking for a Senior Project Manager. This role sits within the PL Programme and specifically the PL Attribution Remediation Programme for Emerging Markets. The objective of the PL Attribution Remediation Program is the delivery of a uniform daily fully attributed official PL for all trading businesses, with a clear audit trail from initial trading flash estimates through to final PL
The Project Manager is required to lead approximately 10 Business Analysts across 3 workstreams focussing within Product Control, Data Quality and Book Maintenance.
This is a high profile role within the organization, delivering to regulatory deadlines.
Essential skills required -
- Experience of leading PL Data Maintenance/Quality streams of work
- Managed Project teams whose responsibility has been focused on the delivery of complete and accurate PL data
- Adapt at providing Data Metrics to show progress of data flows and accuracy thereof.
- Detailed project planning and reporting of project status across the program
- Ability to look at complex issues, challenge current processes and suggest solutions
- Proven track record in delivery in high pressure programs.
- Used to working to tight deadlines and flagging potential problems at an early stage
- Strong presentation and documentation skills
- Experience in navigating across multiple streams and managing dependencies
- Comfortable with presenting and working at different levels within the bank to stakeholders across different functional areas with different views / perspectives
- Strong team player with the ability to take ownership and deliver independently.
