Treasury Securities Services (TSS) is a global leader in transaction, investment and information services that support the needs of chief financial officers, treasurers, issuers and investors worldwide. TSS operates through two divisions: Treasury Services (TS) and Worldwide Securities Services (WSS).
TS Technology Infrastructure (Ti) is the internal organization that provides Business Aligned infrastructure technology services to the JPMorgan Treasury Services business line.
The growth complexity of the business has fostered the need to add a Project Manager to the Ti team. The Project Manager is ultimately responsible for the successful delivery of Ti infrastructure projects to JPMorgan Treasury Services and application development teams.
Responsibilities
- Direct responsibility to deliver infrastructure project deliverables as per agreed scope, budget, and timeline.
- Production and maintenance of detailed plans and budgets.
- Resource planning, procurement, and management.
- Weekly reporting to stakeholders of project status, milestones, budgets, issues risk.
- Identification management of risks including mitigation strategies.
- Issue resolution. Escalation point for technical resources.
- Ensure project management is performed within JPM control and compliance policies.
- Ongoing liaison with lines of business to provide updates, information, requirements, control point.
Skills
- Polished communication and presentation skills.
- Combined business, project and resource management, and IT experience, managing medium to large technology projects through all phases - with proven good track record and technical expertise.
- Experience with projects in multiple technologies, functions and industries to facilitate working with the wider team to assist in the understanding of people-focused issues.
- Understanding of and experience with Project Management delivery methods and tools.
- Familiarity/use with project life cycle and of Application project development process and methodologies
- Willingness to take ownership and show initiative to achieve results.
- Excellent people skills adapting to a variety of business and technology audiences.
- Experience in delivering complex technology projects.
- Experience in the finance and banking sector.
- Mandarin or Cantonese language skills regarded favourably
