About the Position:
The Project Manager will assist in the identification of redesign or enhancement opportunities to deliver improved productivity or efficiency to the business, working with the Program Director to establish future-state ‘Best Practice’. The Project Manager will create and execute an implementation plan for future state transition activities.
The Project Manager will provide structure and vision, ensuring clear communication among team members and stakeholders.
Core Responsibilities:
• Contribute to project vision
• Ensure all assets and resources necessary to meet client needs are identified and delivered
• Develop and maintain all project management deliverables including project charters, budgets, project plans, issues logs, change orders, etc.
• Drive project delivery through effective use of internal and external status meetings and status documentation
• Manage and control project scope and the change control process
• Ensure that projects are completed according to schedule and within budget
• Manage project financials including weekly resource hours and overall project budget
• Ensure that all project documentation is produced in the standard format, follows internal documentation processes, and is reviewed and approved prior to delivery
Minimum Qualifications:
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem solving, negotiating, influencing, facilitation, organizational, prioritization, decision making, and conflict resolution skills
• Demonstrated ability to assume a leadership role in managing projects, departmental and enterprise risks related to projects, and systems and business analysis
• Demonstrated ability to motivate staff/project team, inspire teamwork, and take a leadership role
• Solid understanding of project management methodology including the ability to identify and resolve issues, manage risk, develop detailed work plans and specifications, develop resource plans, and run team meetings
• Strong knowledge of software development life cycles and the delivery of solutions with creative and engineering components
• First-hand, in-depth knowledge of global media markets (command of analog and digital media buying and operations)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proven mentoring, supervisory, and team-building skills
• Ability to solve problems with keen instincts and organizational experience
• Experience in strategic planning and execution
• 5-7+ years of project management experience, preferably in a consulting or agency environment
• 3-5+ years of leadership and/or management experience
• 2-5+ years experience managing larger, more complex and cross functional projects, preferably in a consulting or agency environment
• Undergraduate/Bachelor degree required, Graduate/Master degree preferred
• Willingness to travel (15 – 25% of time)
• Proficiency in MS Project, Excel and Visio
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin (Spoken and Written)
