Project Manager recruitment
Major Investment bank in the city requires an experienced Project / Program Manager to manage the migration of the current commodities risk platform to a single, global, strategic risk platform.
Key Responsibilities:
*Responsible for the end-to-end planning, management and delivery of commodities transformation projects within the Risk and PL domain.
*Responsible for project plans, milestones, measures, budgets, team and stakeholder communication, resource and time management.
*Responsible for delivery of the project including coordinating both directly managed and matrixed development teams within the Risk technology department.
*Assist the Program Manager in stakeholder management and program level progress, risk and issue reporting
*Ensure successful transition to production/steady-state environment
*Ensure technical decisions are consistent with the domain strategy
Key Skills:
*Strong Understanding of project management methodologies, applicable to complex projects with significant dependencies
*Strong Relationship Management across Technology and Business
*Teamwork and Collaboration across teams and domains, and across geographies
*Clear Adaptable Communication to business stakeholders, business technology managers, and development teams.
*Solid understanding of risk across vanilla and complex derivatives products - additional expertise in Commodities, Risk, VaR CVA would be beneficial.
*Leadership / Management Role (either direct or matrix-management)
*Experience of a Risk transformation Project
*Risk experience essential
*Commodities experience hugely advantageous
