Project Manager (Contract)
Our client, a top tier bank is looking to hire a Project Manager to work in the North West for an initial 6 months with likely extension. Quick decisions will be made by the client and interviews will be arranged very quickly.
Responsibilities/Requirements as follows:
- Take lead of a workstream on a simplification programme.
- The ideal candidate will have previous experience and knowledge of front office systems and UML techniques. They will also have experience of managing significant IT projects and delivering on time and within budget.
- Research and analyse new areas and review existing systems, pointing out any possible areas for improvement.
- Create and specify proposals, plans and requirements for project work and present them to management.
- Implement change, ensuring that all those affected fully understand the nature and implications of the changes.
- Motivate, lead and also develop and maintain effective working relationships.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate all types of information to a range of audiences
- Experience within the financial services is bonus, but this is not essential
