Overview:

Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB) comprises three businesses: Corporate Finance, Markets and Global Transaction Banking (GTB) and includes regional coverage in the Bank's key growth areas.

CIB Central in Birmingham is building a Change Management capability to support various cross-product and front to back (F2B) projects. The Birmingham team will work closely with key Front Office and service provider stakeholders in London.

It is likely that your work will be cross-product, therefore an appreciation of multiple investment banking products and operations will be more valuable than deep expertise in a few products.

Key Responsibilities:
*You will be responsible for the execution and delivery of key strategic and tactical programmes/projects, on time and to cost and quality standards.
*Stakeholder management is a key focus of the role and as such the project manager will be responsible for ensuring that all stakeholders are kept informed of project milestones, risks and issues.
*Additionally you will be responsible for managing project issues and risks, status reporting, producing materials for, and chairing Steering Group and Working Group meetings.
*You will work closely and form strong relationships with Senior Project/Programme Managers, Business Subject Matter Experts, Senior Business Clients, Information Technology and Business/System Analysts.

You will have:
*Previous experience in project / change management within Financial Services preferably with several Tier 1 banks.
*A proven track record of project management and delivery within the Investment Banking industry, preferably within several Tier 1 banks.
*A proven track record of project management, business analysis and Project Management Office (PMO) work within the Investment Banking Industry, preferably Front Office.
*High-level understanding of key Investment Banking products including Equities, Derivatives, Bonds, Foreign Exchange (FX), Credit, Money Markets, Repurchase Agreements (Repos).
*Knowledge of the front to back trade lifecycle, processes associated with financial markets and in particular, extensive exposure to F2B processing systems and processes.
*In depth application of project / programme management skills and experience across the entire systems development lifecycle.
*A good understanding of the fundamentals of market, credit and operational risk.
*The ability to influence key decision makers, peer groups and functions outside direct control.
*The ability to excel in a structured but complex working environment.
*The ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization including senior business sponsors and key service providers (both Information Technology and business).
*The ability to use influencing and interpersonal skills to build agreement between divergent interest groups.
*Experience of defining and scoping large change programmes to meet business goals.
*Ability to initiate projects ensuring appropriate sponsorship, funding and resources are available.
*Clear presentation skills to delivery programme status providing transparency to sponsors and stakeholders.
*The confidence and ability to convincingly structure, summarise, defend and present recommendations.
*Strong problem solving and analysis skills.
*A professional, mature approach to project/programme management.
