Project Manager [Ref: Project Manager_WL] recruitment
This is the primary responsibility of the said project manager. Compliance projects usually involve systems rollouts (cf. MUST, SSD in Appendix) that are driven by Paris Compliance. The role includes the design of the implementation plan (scope, governance, budget and planning) for Asia Pacific in liaison with Paris and the monitoring of the project execution. The end objective is to deliver the project within the allocated budget / time envelop and with the expected quality.
Once the systems are in place, the role also includes the organization of user committees regularly to collect feedbacks and identify needs for enhancement or bug fixing for Compliance systems. The project manager will be responsible to raise the regional requests to Paris Compliance.
Your Role:
- Be the point of contact / interface in Asia Pacific for Paris on the project
- Liaise with the concerned parties to define project scope
- Liaise with the concerned parties to define budget and planning
- Propose ad-hoc project governance to run the project
- Implement ad-hoc governance to track project delivery (Operational / Steering Committee)
- Prepare / review business specifications (where necessary)
- Organize test phases in liaison with end users
- Organize change management and post production monitoring
- Report weekly status to management identify and raise appropriate risks/alerts
- Issue project dashboard on a monthly basis and prepare arbitrages for the Steering Committee
- Follow up demands for system enhancements with Paris
Coordinate regional initiatives for Compliance Asia
This is a secondary responsibility for the said project manager. It involves the liaison with local Compliance offices as well as multiple departments across the organization (Front Office, Support functions etc).
Below is an example of some initiatives that the said project manager has driven in the past. The list is not exhaustive and subject to revision depending on the priorities assigned by management.
- Coordinate organization of online staff training
- Review market accesses procedures and controls
- Implement maintain staff license register
- Implement maintain banking license register
- Coordinate outsourcing initiatives
Your Profile:
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in projects or comparable function
- Good functional knowledge of CIB business (products, operations, systems)
- Background in IT or Operations preferred
- Knowledge of compliance principles a plus
- Team player
