Project Manager – Reference Data , Trade Systems recruitment
We are looking for a project manager for our customer reference data team.
The role will be based in our Singapore office.
ROLE SUMMARY:
- Day to day project management for multiple projects working with project teams across multiple time zones
- Conduct working group sessions with business users and IT Delivery managers gathering business requirements
- Provided PM skills and processes to the RDG department
- Provide project management lead for controls and processes in Client Space
- Maintained and prioritized the BOW for the application
- Project managers from different areas in building and producing Test Plans specifications
- Transform Business requirements to User Functional requirements working with the business analyst.
- Manage on-shore/off-shore vendor relationship in meeting the pre-determined project milestones/deliveries
- Produce project status reporting (KPI) to senior managements on an ad-hoc and weekly basis
- In-depth knowledge on Customer Reference Data.
- Coordinate environment and configuration management of software
- Monitor and report budget/actual ratio’s for all customer projects
- Dealing with Manage Service vendor relationships
Divisional/Departmental Overview
GTPS is involved in Post Trade Processing activities such as Trade Capture, Trade Reconciliation, Margin Calculations, Position Keeping, Trade Settlement, Confirms and Statement generation etc. The department has offices across the globe, with major centers located in Singapore, New York and London. RDG IT which is part of GTPS IT is involved with implementing strategic architecture/solution for Client, Product pricing and SSI information. The team has offices globally.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Working knowledge on Knowledge of Microsoft Suite, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, ARIS.
- Exposure to relational databases like Oracle.
- Structured, methodical thinker.
- Strong analytical capability. Focused problem-solver
- 2 or more years of Financial Industry/banking experience

- Can work independently as well as team oriented
- Excellent Oral and Written Communication in English
- Ready to adopt new technologies and process
- Ability to analyse a complex problem and identify potential solutions by exploring and analysing diverse alternatives, including, where applicable, risks and potential business impact.
- Ability to make the right decisions based on the necessary information and to take measures accordingly.
- Ability to understand and anticipate the consequences of your decisions for othe departments/people in short/ long terms. Shows awareness of, and commitment to, improving the effect on the Firm’s cost base/profits.

- Prefers to take the initiative than to stay passive if events happen. Committed to improving productivity.
- Unwilling to accept average performance and strive to exceed requested performance.
