Position Description
The EI Risk team is looking for an experienced technical project manager to assist the EMEA Risk Officer in project managing large-scale risk projects across EI. The candidate will also be responsible for managing the risk assessment process for new EI assets and should be capable of proactively identifying and recommending process efficiency improvements. The candidate will work closely with the Technology Risk team to ensure that improvement requests for the risk assessment tools are documented, monitored and reached a satisfactory resolution for EI.
In addition, the candidate would be required to proactively manage the operational risk landscape for EI in EMEA - creating, monitoring and reporting KPIs for EI Risk.
The role requires extensive interaction with EI risk officers and system owners a highly technical audience. The candidate should have excellent communication skills, technical aptitude and a keen interest in technology.

Skills Required
Industry experience in a large IT enterprise
Strong knowledge and experience of large technology infrastructure environments and an ability to understand the challenges of managing technology infrastructure.
Prior experience in infrastructure support, software development, risk analysis or audit reporting
Strong project management experience with MS Project experience required. Proficiency in MS Office, SharePoint, Excel.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Strong presentation skills, including oral and written communication skills
Comfort working with ambiguity and resolving complex issues
Enthusiastic, motivated team player

Skills Desired:
Understanding of Operational Risk and associated regulations (e.g., Basel, SOX), and the associated application to a technology division within Financial Services
Knowledge of the Morgan Stanley systems and infrastructure
