Project Manager, Risk Weighted Assets recruitment

Responsibilities:

Take ownership of an end-to-end plan covering all initiatives to accelerate the RWA reporting process
Work with key stakeholders to define detailed scope, activities and working day timeline at global level for monthly RWA reporting, define the business implementation approach, and to identify and progress any system dependencies
Assess options for reducing the timeline associated with the current RWA reporting reconciliation processes, and ensure a solution that is consistent with project objectives
Lead analysis work to determine approach for inclusion of RWAs in internal MI on a timely basis
Maintain a relationship with key regional stakeholders to provide support in the design and delivery of local initiatives to accelerate RWA reporting, and to manage dependencies
Provide direction and oversight of detailed work on key initiatives, including performance enhancements to central RWA architecture, reconciliation enhancements and manual adjustment removal
Supporting Global Programme Manager in management activities, including oversight on delivery of regional initiatives, management of risks and issues, status reporting, and representing the project at regional meetings and other relevant forums

Skills and Experience

Degree educated
Proven experience with Basel II Credit Risk RWA calculations and regulatory reporting processes in banking
An understanding of systems delivery lifecycles and delivery methodologies
A good appreciation of systems and data architectures, specifically in a risk and finance environment
Excellent analysis skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Project)
Excellent stakeholder management skills
Mature and independent - able to work with little supervision
Ability to professionally and effectively present information and respond to questions from all levels of management
A self-starter with excellent written/verbal communication skills

This is a 12 month temporary contract with a strong possibility of being extended.
